February Fund Update

Greetings all,

I’m pleased to report that since December 1, the Wade Christiansen Purple Heart Scholarship Fund has accepted nearly $4,000 in generous donations.  That sum puts the fund at $17,825 total, more than two-thirds of the $25,000 goal we need to achieve before the end of May to make an award for the fall 2016 semester.  Thank you, one and all, for your contributions and for spreading the word.

We are getting close, but we have not achieved our goal yet.  In the coming months, I plan outreach to area partners who may assist in fundraising and promotion, and I hope to have support from readers like you.  Any contribution counts, as does a share with a friend or family member.  Remember: 100 percent of donated funds will support tuition, books, and other education costs for a Montana State veteran or veteran’s family member.  100 percent of contributions also qualify for federal tax deduction, which is a nice bonus perk.  Donating is as easy as a few clicks.  Remember a donation can be one-time, or ongoing on a monthly basis.
