Jonathon Strong Receives Wade Christiansen Purple Heart Scholarship Award for 2023
Congratulations to Jonathon Strong! The Wade Christiansen Purple Heart Scholarship Fund and the Montana State University Veterans Support Center are pleased to recognize Jonathon as the 2023 recipient of a $2,250 scholarship award.
Jonathon is studying exercise science at Montana State, and plans to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. Jonathon served in the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit stationed in Japan, and advanced to the rank of Sergeant in three years before leaving the Marine Corps in 2019.
Excellent work, Jonathon! Thank you for serving and all the best with your continuing studies at Montana State.
The Wade Christiansen Purple Heart Scholarship Fund will continue making awards to outstanding military veterans like Jonathon for years to come. Please consider a one-time or ongoing donation to the project. All donations are 100 percent federally tax-deductible, and every cent goes to military personnel and military families pursuing an education at Montana State University.
